5-Minute Breakfast Meals Your Family Will Love

You’ve heard it before: The first meal of the day is the most important. Yet, who has the time to make a full and decent breakfast? Mine typically involves coffee and a bowl of cereal. But the reason it’s so important is that your body (surprise!) needs plenty of energy to start the day! So let’s check out these healthy, easy breakfast recipes that take five minutes or less to put together.

5-minute breakfast meals are delicious! If you have only a few minutes, then you can make a homemade breakfast to fill your belly and fuel your body. Also, if you want to know what to avoid, check out 7 of the worst breakfast foods to start your day. Let’s begin:

Avocado Toast

There’s a reason avocado toast is so popular—it’s loaded with healthy fats, it’s delicious, and it’s quick. This recipe is also super customizable! You may use any bread you like and keep it simple. You can try cucumber, hot sauce, and even honey. Go wild!

One-minute oatmeal in the microwave is easy and convenient, but with only a little prep work, you can serve a hot bowl of oats packed with nutrition and flavor. Have you ever tried chocolate hazelnut spread on your oatmeal? Maybe dried cherries or pumpkin puree? Try something new!

Breakfast Sandwich

Lisa’s Dinnertime Dish has a breakfast dish worth sharing! In fact, it’s to be said that “you’ll have breakfast on the table in no time with this 5-minute” sandwich. Heads up: There’s an egg involved, but the secret is that you’ll cook it in the microwave. Read more here.

Baked Apple Breakfast

This is the equivalent of a warm hug. With zero added sugar, healthy fats from the pecans, and a dollop of yogurt to complement the gooey microwaved apples, this is a relaxed way to start the morning. Read the recipe here from Healthy Sweet Eats.
